  • West GTA Stroke Network - Community Resources: Downloadable community resource book with a listing of stroke resources available for residents of the West GTA.
  • Meals on Wheels of Ontario: Helps those who are unable to shop for their own food or to cook maintain their independence at home by delivering nutritious, and affordable meals.
  • VON Volunteer Visiting: Trained volunteers provide companionship and personal assistance to isolated seniors or adults with chronic illnesses or physical or cognitive disabilities.
  • VON Home Maintenance: VON can help clients maintain a clean and safe environment at home through yard maintenance, window washing, snow removal and other chores.
  • VON Home Help: VON home help provides seniors and those with physical disabilities with essential housekeeping, to help them stay in their own homes longer. 
  • Community Navigation and Access Program (CNAP): CNAP offers homemaking services, adult day programs, shopping assistance and more.

  • Services Québec - Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals to the homes of seniors and people living with a permanent or temporary loss of autonomy. Home visits by Meals on Wheels volunteers also provide clients with companionship.

  • Northwood Out and About Programs: Day programs offer a safe, therapeutic environment for dependent adults over 50 years of age with a diagnosis of Alzheimer Disease, stroke or who may be physically frail.
  • VON Home Maintenance: Help seniors maintain a clean and safe outdoor environment if they aren’t able to handle such chores on their own, such as snow removal and lawn mowing. 
  • VON Home Help: VON home help provides seniors and those with physical disabilities with essential housekeeping, to help them stay in their own homes longer. 
  • Nova Scotia Health and Wellness - Supportive Care: Provincial program providing funding for eligible Nova Scotians with cognitive impairments for home support services.
  • VON Meals on Wheels: Volunteers deliver nourishing meals to people unable to cook or shop for themselves.
  • Canadian Red Cross - Home Care services: The Red Cross offers personal support and homemaking services to support seniors and those recovering from illness or injury live independently.
