Train for new instructor designations with our new, guided process

Are you a new instructor or are you training to be an instructor in another discipline? Whether you’re adding ACLS instructor status to your BLS instruction or vice versa, our new instructor training  process will make the path crystal-clear from beginning to end. Here are just a few of the ways we’ve improved instructor onboarding:

Guided administrative and training process. Triggered by their initial expression of interest, each instructor candidate will automatically receive a planned and helpful series of e-communications from Heart & Stroke that lead them, step-by-step, through the process from application to full instructor status.  You will clearly see the tasks you need to complete before you  arrive at your course. We’ve built in time for you to purchase and review materials, and to become familiar with important information, training requirements and policies. You will arrive at your course ready to learn!

One form, zero confusion. Instructors told us they need to have an instructor card that helps them meet their goals no matter where they teach.  We now have one instructor application form to increase the transferability of the instructor credential and so much more. We hope you will love our new single clear and consistent instructor application and evaluation process, accessed completely through the new portal. Each instructor candidate completes their application through their own portal account and submits it along with a $55 fee. This new process means instructors will maximize the portability of their instructor status across Canada and ensures consistency.
